Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architectural Engineer to join our Technical Office team and support the delivery of high‑rise building projects.
The role focuses on design development, IFC documentation, multidisciplinary coordination, and technical support during construction, ensuring all architectural outputs are fully coordinated, compliant, and buildable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & Technical Documentation
- Develop and review Design Development and Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings
- Ensure architectural drawings are:
1- Fully coordinated with structure and MEP
2- Compliant with project specifications and local codes
1- Plans, sections, elevations
2- Architectural details (façade, wet areas, podiums, cores)
2. Multidisciplinary Coordination
1- Structural engineers
2- MEP engineers
3- Façade consultants
- Identify and resolve design clashes and inconsistencies
- Participate in coordination meetings and technical workshops
3. Shop Drawings & Submittals Review
- Review contractor shop drawings for:
1- Compliance with IFC drawings
2- Constructability and design intent
1- Material submissions
2- Technical data sheets
3- Mock-ups
4. Technical Support & RFIs
- Respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) from contractors
- Issue technical clarifications and revised drawings when required
- Provide solutions for construction-related technical issues
5. Authority Compliance & Approvals
1- Saudi Building Code (SBC)
2- Civil Defense (Fire & Life Safety)
3- Municipality requirements
- Support submission and approval processes with authorities
6. BIM & Documentation Control
- Work within BIM environment (Revit preferred)
- Ensure proper documentation control and version tracking
- Support clash detection processes (Navisworks or similar)
High‑Rise Specific Scope
- Vertical tower coordination (cores, shafts, stacking)
- Podium and tower integration
- Façade detailing (curtain wall, cladding systems)
- Fire & life safety planning (egress, compartmentation)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture
- 10–20 years of architectural experience
- Proven experience:
1- in High‑rise buildings (preferably 20+ floors)
2- Technical Office / Design Office roles
- Experience in consultancy or large-scale projects is preferred
Technical Skills:
1- Revit (mandatory)
2- BIM
- AutoCAD
- Good understanding of:
1- IFC documentation
2- Architectural detailing
3- SBC, IBC, NFPA (preferred)
