Summary: The Architect Draftsman / Designer role is a key position within our growing team in Qatar, focused on transforming creative concepts into precise, functional, and visually compelling architectural and interior design solutions. This individual will play a vital role in the successful execution of residential, commercial, and interior fit-out projects by producing accurate drawings, 3D models, and detailed shop drawings. The role requires close collaboration with architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure designs meet technical, regulatory, and client requirements. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, technically proficient professional with a strong portfolio and experience in high-quality design delivery within the Qatar or GCC market.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and detailed layouts
- Develop 2D and 3D design concepts for residential and commercial projects
- Produce interior fit-out and shop drawings with comprehensive detailing
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and project teams throughout project execution
- Revise and update drawings in response to client feedback and project changes
- Ensure all design documentation complies with Qatar construction standards and project specifications
- Support design presentations, space planning, and material selection processes
- Conduct site visits for measurements and on-site coordination as needed
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation and drawing records
Requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Architect Draftsman / Designer in Qatar or GCC region
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D Max, Lumion, or similar design software
- Experience working on architectural, construction, or interior fit-out projects
- Solid understanding of technical drawings and construction detailing
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight project deadlines independently
