Summary:
The Fit-out Engineer (Civil) is a critical role responsible for overseeing interior fit-out and civil construction activities on-site across diverse projects in Qatar. This position ensures seamless execution of fit-out works by coordinating with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers, while maintaining strict adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day fit-out and civil works at project sites
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams
- Ensure all work complies with approved drawings and project specifications
- Monitor project timelines and track site progress to meet deadlines
- Supervise interior finishing works including partitions, ceilings, flooring, and painting
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and compliance standards
- Support material planning, procurement coordination, and site logistics
- Prepare progress reports and technical documentation as required
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with construction standards
- Resolve technical and site-related issues promptly and professionally
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in fit-out or civil construction projects
- Proven knowledge of interior fit-out execution and site supervision
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, construction drawings, and project coordination tools
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven project environment
- GCC or Qatar experience is an added advantage
- Qatar Driving License is preferred
