Role Description
ASCO Aluminum is a Riyadh-based aluminum and facade solutions company specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of curtain walls, windows, doors, cladding, skylights, and frameless partitions. We seek a Facade Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to define scope, assumptions, and exclusions.
- Perform quantity take-offs for aluminum and glass systems (curtain walls, windows, doors, cladding, skylights, partitions).
- Analyze material, fabrication, labor, equipment, logistics, and subcontractor costs.
- Develop detailed BOQs, pricing sheets, and bid packages in line with company standards.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, clarifications, and compliance statements.
- Participate in bid reviews, risk assessments, and handover to project teams after award.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of facade systems, materials, fabrication processes, and installation methods.
- Proficiency in quantity take-off and estimating tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel; familiarity with estimating software such ORGADATA is a plus).
- Ability to read and interpret architectural/structural drawings and specifications.
- Solid understanding of industry standards and codes relevant to facades.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and coordination skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Have a good knowledge in local and international aluminum systems.
- Very good in English; Arabic is an advantage.
