About Your Team
This role sits within the Design Department and reports directly to the Design Manager. The team is responsible for BIM coordination, technical collaboration, and maintaining digital construction standards across projects. It focuses on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Role
As a BIM Coordinator, you will:
- Review tender and IFC information models, drawings, and asset data in line with ISO 19650 standards.
- Manage BIM coordination workflows and project data environments in line with project requirements.
- Support the implementation of BIM protocols, EIRs, and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
- Lead BIM coordination meetings and manage multidisciplinary coordination processes.
- Supervise and support BIM Modelers across project activities.
- Ensure BIM QA/QC standards are maintained and models remain healthy and coordinated.
- Perform model audits and reviews using Autodesk Revit and related BIM tools.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP BIM models to identify and resolve clashes.
- Facilitate 3D spatial coordination and technical collaboration across teams.
- Support technical teams with site queries, discrepancies, and coordination challenges.
- Work with subcontractors to integrate submittals, manufacturer data, and as-built information into BIM models.
- Support handover and as-built processes, ensuring model accuracy and project closeout requirements are achieved.
- Promote innovation and adaptability across BIM software platforms and digital workflows.
This role is full time and follows a Monday to Friday work week, aligned with technical and support functions.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 5–6 years of BIM experience within construction projects, including at least 3 years in a BIM Coordinator role within GCC projects.
Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of BIM fundamentals, workflows, standards, and specifications.
- Advanced experience working within collaborative Common Data Environments (CDE).
- Knowledge of digital construction processes and BIM coordination practices.
Skills:
- Strong coordination, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational and technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to mentor and support project teams effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality delivery.
- Ability to work proactively and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
