scription:The Building Performance Engineer delivers ongoing HVAC Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) support for global facilities, translating building analytics into actionable maintenance and optimization improvements. The role partners with facilities, operations, and BAS teams to identify HVAC issues, develop operational and control optimization recommendations, and support analytics deployment to improve performance, comfort, and energy efficiency. This role directly supports the client operational excellence, energy efficiency, and smart building initiatives through data driven HVAC optimization across global f
acilities.
Position Responsibilities – A Day i
- n the Life Provide ongoing HVAC Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) support for global facilities, independently managing assigned building performance efforts and translating analytics insights into actionable maintenance and optimization im
- provements.Lead recurring service meetings with facilities, operations, energy teams, and BAS
- engineers.Review building documentation (mechanical drawings, BAS documentation, control sequences, TAB reports) to understand system des
- ign intent.Analyze building analytics data to identify HVAC faults, inefficiencies, and operatio
- nal issues.Develop and prioritize maintenance and optimization recommendations, including control sequence improvements, setpoint adjustments, and scheduling op
- timization.Create data driven visualizations to communicate findings and quantify operational and ener
