AWISH Architects is an Athens-based architectural practice specialising in the design of residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. Our portfolio includes boutique hotels, luxury suites, corporate headquarters, and private residences, with work recognised in leading design publications, including the 2024 edition of Apartments and 2026 edition of ek magazine.
As a small, close-knit team, we are involved in every stage of the design process, from concept development through to construction. What we are looking for in a candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Master's degree preferred.
- Ideally 4+ years of professional experience in an architectural practice, though we would consider great candidates with less years of experience.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or ArchiCAD is preferred. Candidates with experience in similar architectural software and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with 3D modelling and visualisation software such as Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, or similar.
- Strong graphic presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Interest in construction processes and willingness to participate in site visits and construction supervision.
- Previous site experience will be considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated design initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating both design excellence and project delivery experience.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to all stages of the architectural design process, from concept development to detailed design and project delivery.
- Prepare architectural drawings, technical documentation, presentations, and visualisations.
- Develop and refine 3D models, renderings, and design proposals.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other professionals involved in the design process.
- Participate in site visits and construction supervision to support the successful implementation of designs.
- Assist in coordinating project information and ensuring design quality throughout all project stages.
- Contribute creative ideas and take initiative in solving design and technical challenges.
