Role Description The Facade Site Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for supervising and coordinating facade installation activities on construction projects. This role oversees daily site operations, including managing installation teams, scheduling tasks, and ensuring work is completed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The Foreman monitors the use of equipment and materials, inspects ongoing work, and resolves technical or logistical issues in collaboration with project engineers and site management. Daily responsibilities include conducting toolbox talks, enforcing safety protocols, reviewing drawings and installation plans, tracking progress, and reporting site status to project leadership. The position also involves liaising with contractors and suppliers, supporting maintenance or corrective work, and contributing to continuous improvement of installation methods and on-site efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and on-site coordination.
- Experience working with Heavy Equipment related to facade installation and general construction operations.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with site teams, project managers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Practical Carpentry skills and understanding of building envelope components and assembly methods.
- Maintenance skills for identifying defects, coordinating remedial works, and ensuring long-term performance of installed facades.
- Proven experience as a site foreman or similar role in facade, cladding, or construction projects.
- Solid knowledge of construction safety standards and ability to enforce safety procedures on site.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and project specifications.
- Good problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities in a fast-paced site environment.
- Relevant technical diploma or trade certification in construction, civil engineering, or a related field; facade-specific experience is an advantage.
