We're partnering with an internationally respected engineering and consulting organization that continues to expand its building envelope and specialty consulting practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant or engineer to work on complex building enclosure projects, develop technical expertise alongside industry-leading professionals, and contribute to a wide range of high-profile assignments.
What You'll Do
- Perform building envelope investigations and assessments involving roofing, waterproofing, facades, windows, and exterior wall systems
- Conduct field reviews, condition assessments, and diagnostic testing on new and existing buildings
- Evaluate building enclosure performance and identify sources of water intrusion, air leakage, condensation, and material deterioration
- Assist in the development of repair recommendations, rehabilitation strategies, and construction documents
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation
- Support forensic investigations involving building envelope failures and construction defects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, property owners, and other project stakeholders
- Participate in construction administration activities, including site observations and contractor coordination
- Manage project tasks and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Building Envelope Consulting, Building Science, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Professional licensure (PE or RA) preferred, or actively pursuing licensure
- Experience with roofing systems, waterproofing, exterior wall assemblies, windows, and facade systems
- Understanding of building science principles, moisture management, and enclosure performance
- Strong technical writing and report preparation skills
- Ability to perform field investigations, climb ladders, and access rooftops as required
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
