Are you an experienced BIM professional looking to join a practice that's been at the forefront of BIM adoption?
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established architecture practice that has embraced BIM from the early days and is now looking to strengthen its team with an experienced BIM Coordinator.
Working across a diverse portfolio of predominantly public sector projects, alongside an increasing number of residential developments with growing BIM requirements, you'll play a key role in driving BIM standards, supporting project teams and ensuring best practice is embedded across the business. You'll work closely with the National BIM Lead, helping to shape and maintain high-quality BIM delivery across multiple projects.
As BIM Coordinator, you'll provide technical BIM support across project teams, ensuring models, workflows and documentation meet both client requirements and industry standards. This role would suit someone who has built their BIM expertise within an architectural, engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy and enjoys working collaboratively to improve project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate BIM delivery across a range of public sector and private residential projects.
- Support project teams with BIM workflows, standards and best practice.
- Ensure project models meet client and project-specific BIM requirements.
- Work closely with the National BIM Lead to develop and maintain BIM processes.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting to internal teams.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary models and support clash detection processes.
- Promote consistency, quality and compliance across all BIM deliverables.
- Help drive continuous improvement and the ongoing development of BIM capability across the practice.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM-focused role.
- Background within architecture, engineering or a multidisciplinary consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of BIM processes, standards and project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to support and advise project teams.
- Experience working on public sector projects would be advantageous.
- A proactive approach with a passion for improving workflows and collaboration.
