Role Description
As a Junior Architect at Earthwise Architecture, you will support the design and development of architectural projects from concept through detailed drawings. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design presentations, assisting with 2D and 3D documentation, coordinating with senior team members, and contributing to research on materials, context, and regulations. You will help refine design details, participate in internal reviews, and maintain organized project files and drawings. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode, requiring close collaboration with the studio team and occasional site visits as projects demand.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
- Experience or familiarity with Software Development and Integration in the context of design tools, workflows, or automation.
- Basic understanding of Project Management, including task coordination, timelines, and documentation.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent accredited qualification.
- Attention to detail, strong visual and spatial skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a collaborative studio environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work constructively with colleagues, consultants, and contractors.
- Interest in contextual, art-driven, and research-based design approaches; familiarity with sustainable design principles is an advantage.
