TYG is partnering with an award-winning design firm as they are looking for a Senior Architectural Designer to join its growing Tampa office. This is an opportunity for a licensed Architect with 10+ years in the industry and experience delivering healthcare projects to join a collaborative, design-driven practice . You'll play a key leadership role, guiding projects from concept through construction while mentoring team members, collaborating with clients and consultants, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm.
About the role:
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex healthcare projects through all phases, providing technical and project leadership from concept through construction.
- Develop innovative design concepts for advancements in healthcare technology.
- Oversee multidisciplinary coordination, construction documentation, and quality control while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, building codes, and client standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams, managing project delivery, resolving technical challenges, and supporting successful project outcomes.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the healthcare practice through technical expertise, leadership, and client engagement.
Requirements:
- Licensed Architect
- 10+ years of experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to healthcare facilities.
- Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Revit, Enscape and more.
