Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and monitor all civil and structural construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Supervise works related to excavation, concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, plastering, finishing, and external works.
- Ensure construction activities comply with UAE codes, standards, and local authority regulations.
- Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and test reports.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify non-conformities, and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve site issues.
- Witness and verify material testing, concrete pouring, and inspection requests (IRs).
- Prepare and maintain daily site reports, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Ensure adherence to approved construction schedules and quality standards.
- Participate in snagging, de-snagging, and final inspections prior to project handover.
- Support authority inspections and ensure compliance during audits and approvals.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 8-15 years of relevant experience in civil inspection works.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Consultant Firms in the UAE (mandatory).
- Strong experience in high-rise and residential building projects.
- Sound knowledge of UAE construction practices, codes, and standards.
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and inspection processes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
