BIM Manager — Singapore Office
Office Location: Singapore
Kyoob is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM standards, model governance, and multi-disciplinary coordination across our Singapore projects, working closely with project teams and our Penang BIM support.
Purpose
- Own BIM delivery quality, consistency, and compliance to office standards across all project stages (concept to authority submissions, tender, and construction).
Key Responsibilities
- BIM strategy & standards: Own and continuously improve Kyoob’s BIM standards, templates, libraries, naming conventions, and QA/QC checklists Establish and maintain project BEPs; ensure each project team implements agreed BIM Execution Plans Drive best-practice adoption and workflow improvements across ArchiCAD, and where required, Revit deliverables
- Project BIM management & coordination: Set up and manage BIM project environments (Teamwork/BIMcloud/CDE protocols), including permissions, structure, and model segmentation Lead regular coordination routines: model audits, issue logging, coordination workshops, and closure tracking Ensure drawing/model deliverables meet deadlines and submission requirements, including Singapore authority submission needs where applicable Support project teams in translating design intent into coordinated, buildable documentation
- Information management & QA/QC Establish model audit routines (LOD/LOI, model health, classification, parameter completeness, drawing consistency) Review and sign off key BIM deliverables before issue/submission Maintain version control and ensure proper archiving and file hygiene
- Stakeholder & consultant management Coordinate BIM interfaces with external consultants (C&S, MEP, specialist vendors) and contractors Represent BIM requirements in consultant kick-offs, coordination meetings, and technical workshops
- Team leadership & capability building Mentor and upskill BIM modellers/drafters and project architects on BIM workflows and office standards Create quick guides and internal SOPs; support onboarding and training plans for BIM staff Provide technical input for BIM hiring and interviews
- Technology & continuous improvement Evaluate and implement BIM tools/plugins (model checking, issue tracking, coordination tools) Act as escalation point for advanced BIM troubleshooting and delivery risks
Job Qualifications And Experience
- Degree in Architecture / Building Information Modelling / construction-related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of BIM experience, with at least 2 years in a BIM coordination/management capacity
- Strong proficiency in Graphisoft ArchiCAD (Teamwork, BIMx, BIMcloud) is required
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Revit is an advantage (some projects/consultant workflows may require it)
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, multi-disciplinary coordination, and BIM information management
- Experience developing/maintaining BEPs and running coordination and QA/QC routines across multiple projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable leading coordination meetings
Preferred
- Experience supporting Singapore-based projects and authority submission workflows
- Experience coordinating multi-office delivery (Singapore + Penang)
- Familiarity with CDE practices and formal issue tracking workflows

- Coordination/review tools such as BIMcollab or Navisworks (as required by project)
