Job Responsibilities
The Buildings Engineer – Site Supervisor shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Supervise the construction of buildings and associated civil works to ensure compliance with the approved design, specifications, and Contract requirements.
- Monitor construction quality, progress, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Inspect construction activities and witness testing and commissioning where applicable.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and inspection requests.
- Coordinate with the Contractor, Supervision Team, and Client to resolve construction-related issues.
- Verify completed works for interim and final payment certifications.
- Prepare site inspection reports, progress reports, and technical recommendations.
- Ensure that construction activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements.
Qualificatio
- nsRegistered Civil Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineerin
- g.A postgraduate qualification in Construction Management or Structural Engineering is preferre
- d.Minimum of 15 years of cumulative professional experience in Civil Engineerin
- g.Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction supervision of buildings and civil infrastructure project
- s.Experience in at least 2 projects of similar size and complexity in a comparable rol
- e.Familiar with FIDIC Conditions of Contract and international construction standard
- s.Excellent written and spoken English communication skill
