Role Description The Building Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Muntinlupa, responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building systems and facilities. This role oversees day-to-day building maintenance activities, including monitoring and servicing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, and promptly addressing maintenance and repair requests. The Building Engineer conducts regular inspections, implements preventive maintenance programs, coordinates with service providers and contractors, and keeps accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status. The role also supports facility management initiatives, assists in testing and commissioning of building systems when required, and collaborates with property management to maintain compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for building systems and equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Facility Management (FM), including coordination of services, vendor management, and compliance with building standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance, including planning, scheduling, and documenting routine inspections and servicing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Plumbing, including basic troubleshooting, repair, and coordination with specialized contractors.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in building operations or facilities management, ideally in commercial or mixed-use properties.
- Knowledge of safety practices, building codes, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply them in daily operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and service providers.
