A leading NYC real estate developer is seeking an experienced Licensed Architect to lead the design and execution of luxury multifamily and mixed-use developments. This role will oversee architectural design, technical coordination, code compliance, and construction administration from concept through completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design and project execution for residential and mixed-use developments.
- Prepare and coordinate construction documents using BIM (Autodesk Revit preferred).
- Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code, zoning, ADA, and permitting requirements.
- Coordinate with developers, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
- Review RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals while supporting construction administration.
- Conduct site visits, resolve design issues, and maintain project quality, schedule, and budget.
- Mentor junior architects and support value engineering initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Architect (New York license preferred).
- 20+ years of architectural experience.
- Mandarin Chinese fluency required.
- Strong proficiency in BIM and Autodesk Revit.
- Extensive knowledge of NYC Building Code, zoning, and permitting.
- Experience with high-rise residential, condominium, and mixed-use developments.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
