About the Role
We are looking for a technically strong and solution-oriented Façade Design & Estimation Engineer to strengthen our back-office team and support the commercial organization in winning projects.
The role is primarily focused on project design, estimation, technical proposals, and value engineering. You will review project requirements, develop optimized aluminium façade and system solutions, and provide accurate technical and commercial input to help us offer competitive solutions while reducing cost and complexity for our fabricator partners.
Working closely with the sales team, customers, consultants, and fabricators, you will turn project requirements into technically sound, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions, identifying opportunities to optimize system selection, design, material usage, and fabrication. Your engineering expertise will play a key role in improving our competitiveness and increasing our chances of winning projects.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and documents.
- Propose suitable aluminium façade and system solutions for projects.
- Prepare technical offers and project proposals for clients.
- Develop 2D/3D technical drawings and typical details.
- Support clients with structural analysis and technical calculations.
- Provide thermal and acoustic calculations when required.
- Prepare fabrication documents including cutting lists and assembly drawings.
- Provide technical support to clients during ordering, fabrication, and installation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- Experienced candidate 3-5 years in the facade industry.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of aluminium façade systems, design, estimation, and value engineering.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, RFEM/STAAD, Logikal and MS Office preferred.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills are essential, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, consultants, fabricators, and internal teams.
