Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah for a Facade Engineer. The Facade Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and coordination of building envelope systems, ensuring their structural integrity, thermal performance, and compliance with project specifications. The role involves close collaboration with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to develop innovative facade solutions that meet aesthetic, functional, and sustainability requirements. The candidate will also oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality standards are met.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Building Envelope and Facade systems design and construction
- Proficiency in Facade Design and Structural Engineering to develop safe and reliable systems
- Understanding of Building Physics and thermal performance analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in design, modeling, and analysis software relevant to facade engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
- Prior experience in facade engineering and knowledge of industry standards and codes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
