Position Summary:
The Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring that all structural, architectural, and finishing works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role requires effective coordination with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the execution of structural, concrete, architectural, and finishing works on-site.
- Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings and ensure compliance during project execution.
- Identify design conflicts, technical issues, and construction challenges, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Inspect and approve subcontractors’ work and verify compliance with project standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved schedules and milestones.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Lead, supervise, and support site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams to achieve project objectives.
- Prepare site reports and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at the project site.
- Make timely and effective decisions to address unforeseen site issues and maintain project continuity.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction and site execution projects.
- Proven experience in supervising structural, architectural, and finishing works.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, quality control procedures, and site inspection processes.
